Early Childhood Education

120 hour program

This option is for those students seeking 120 hours of high quality classroom training only. It does not include the required practical experience. The student is responsible for the additional 480 hours of documented fieldwork to test for the CDA credential.  Tuition includes textbooks and supplies.  All coursework is Ohio Approved /Step Up To Quality approved!

Requirements: 18 yrs of age, high school diploma or equivalent, and FBI/BCI background check.

Apollo Adult Early Childhood Education is a highly accredited program recognized by the United States Department of Post-Secondary Education. Coursework includes Communicable Disease, Child Abuse, First Aid, and CPR!

How Do I Apply?

  • Print the Application or pick one up at our Adult Education office.
  • Fill it out completely and return it to the Adult Education office.
  • Schedule an appointment to meet with the Program Manager.
  • Schedule an appointment to meet with the Financial Aid office.  A minimum of $300 to start class is required.

Hello, my name is Wendy Fannin. I have been involved in  Early Childhood Education(ECE) since 1995.

I enjoy working with adult learners as they develop and learn.

It has been my goal to help people obtain their Child Development Associate Credential (CDA).

I feel my honesty and integrity, combined with my experience and commitment to professionalism has allowed ECE/CDA students to achieve their goals.

120-HR ECE SCHEDULE

Days: Tuesday or Thursday
Time: 6:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Tuition: $1,200  (Payment plans may be available upon meeting with Financial Aid Manager)
Hours: 120 classroom hours will be provided.
Student is responsible for an additional 480 hours of documented fieldwork prior to end date to obtain completion certificate and CDA.
Start – End:  9/07/17 – 5/17/18

HOW DO I BEGIN?

ArrowSTEP 1:  Contact the Program Manager to schedule a meeting by clicking “Meet the Manager”.

This is an opportunity to find out more about the program, tour the facility, meet other staff, and discuss program requirements.

Should you wish to enroll at this time, you will fill out the proper enrollment forms, and the manager will schedule you for the Work Keys entrance test, which is required for all Full Time students.
